IT Operations DX Consultant

This consultant role is part of a core strategy-planning function within NEC's consulting division. The team works with industry-specific specialist groups and units responsible for AI and system development to provide cross-functional support.

The role focuses on operational DX: aligning operational improvements with business strategy, developing strategies, and preparing the plans needed for execution. Responsibilities include addressing management issues across industries and themes, providing consulting from strategy formulation through implementation support, and contributing to business growth, corporate value improvement, and the creation of new customer experiences.

Required qualifications include experience in business process improvement (BPR) or DX promotion, experience with facilitation, logical thinking, and documentation in IT-related projects, and basic knowledge of IT architecture.

Preferred experience includes deep knowledge of operational work, system implementation, requirements definition, and UAT. Experience implementing operational systems, particularly ServiceNow and similar tools, is also preferred. Project management experience and the ability to organize customer issues and independently propose solutions are desirable.

The position is intended as a regular employee role at a level ranging from主任 to Professional, equivalent to department-manager level. It is based at NEC's headquarters building in Minato, Tokyo, and remote work is available for more than half of the week. Annual compensation is approximately ¥6.8–9.3 million for the主任 level and ¥9.3–12.0 million for the Professional level. Monthly pay is approximately ¥440,000–610,000 or ¥580,000–800,000, respectively, with the previous salary and company regulations taken into account.
