About this role

The Lead Product Manager will be responsible for the value delivered to patients and healthcare professionals and for achieving that value in a sustainable business model. Responsibilities include researching patients and healthcare professionals, structuring and prioritizing problems using research and business data, defining value for an assigned area and across multiple products, and planning and advancing product roadmaps based on business strategy. It works with designers, engineers, and other product managers to design consistent experiences, and reviews and supports other product managers in problem definition, requirements definition, and decision-making.

The role designs and conducts quantitative and qualitative research, monitors product KPIs, and plans and advances improvements based on research and analysis. It also works and negotiates with business leaders, healthcare professionals, engineers, partner clinics, and external partners, while promoting decisions under multiple constraints and managing projects.

Organizational responsibilities include reviewing, mentoring, and supporting other product managers; establishing decision criteria and common product-management processes; and identifying cross-organizational issues and creating mechanisms to resolve them.

Possible assignments include a healthcare platform application connecting online and in-person medical care, e-commerce, and daily health management; clinic DX products covering patient reservations and systems supporting reception, consultations, and payment; and three healthcare e-commerce services. Depending on experience, preferences, and company needs, the assignment may involve another product area. The role works with medical professionals, product managers, designers, engineers, business leaders, clinics, and external partners. Remote work and flextime are available. The work location is the Hamamatsu office in Minato, Tokyo, or remote work.
