About this role
A solution sales role, with a path to leadership, for fincode by GMO, a next-generation payment platform developed by the GMO Payment Gateway group. The hire joins GMO Payment Gateway and is seconded to GMO Epsilon, a group company of about 50 people where planning, sales, customer support and development work as one unit.
The salesperson helps e-commerce operators, SaaS companies and platform businesses design how money flows through their services: finding payment bottlenecks and proposing the right mix of card, convenience-store and bank-transfer payments; outbound and inbound new-client sales, including alliances with e-commerce package vendors; helping design fees and revenue sharing; and preparing research and proposals with AI tools. After go-live the role follows up, feeds requests back to the product team and proposes upsells and cross-sells.
Required: at least three years of corporate (B2B) sales experience in any industry, with emphasis on having heard customer problems and proposed solutions.
