As a member of the Enterprise Technology Services group, you will maintain technological stability and mitigate financial risk for clients across Bloomberg solutions. You will service production needs and develop strong client relationships.
As part of the Enterprise Technology Services group, this role supports the production needs of buy-side and sell-side clients using Bloomberg's connectivity and integration solutions in capital markets. Responsibilities include analyzing and troubleshooting client production issues, identifying root causes and providing timely solutions, working with Engineering and Product teams to prevent incidents, partnering with Account Management on proactive client engagements, and ensuring a smooth transition from project implementation to production support. The role involves technologies and data specifications such as FIX, XML, MQ, and APIs between Bloomberg and external systems. Candidates need a minimum of 3 years of client-facing experience supporting financial markets trading or connectivity solutions, along with experience in one or more of: FIX, middleware (e.g. MQ), TCP/IP, SFTP, web APIs, Unix/Linux, scripting (e.g. Perl, Python), or data transformation. Technical support and troubleshooting experience in networks, connectivity, and messaging is required, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese (JLPT N1 or native-level equivalent).
