Project Manager, DX Solutions

This project manager will direct development and manage projects for restaurant POS and other store DX solutions. The role supports customers ranging from individual stores to large chains, joins sales discussions to understand operational issues, converts business needs into system requirements, and contributes to product improvements. It coordinates customers, sales, planning teams, development teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities include organizing customer and internal requests, tracing request specifications, defining business and system requirements, analyzing workflows, evaluating feature feasibility, preparing project plans, and managing progress, issues and risks. The role also coordinates specifications, supports customer proposals and implementation, prepares release plans, and drives improvement proposals. The position covers the process from request organization and requirements definition through project execution rather than only schedule tracking. Multiple hires are planned as large-chain projects increase.

Required experience is approximately three or more years as a project leader or project manager on system development or system implementation projects. Applicants must have experience organizing requests and defining requirements through communication with customers and internal stakeholders, managing project progress and issues, and coordinating stakeholders. Experience with restaurant POS, ordering, payments, reservations or CRM projects, SaaS, web services, business systems, multiple-vendor management, business analysis or improvement proposals is welcomed.

The example technology environment includes TypeScript, Vue.js and Tailwind CSS for the frontend; PHP, TypeScript and Ruby on Rails for the backend; PHPUnit, Vitest and RSpec for testing; AWS, Terraform and CDK for infrastructure; Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot and Claude Code for development and operations; and Backlog, Slack, Google Workspace and Figma for project management and collaboration. The technology stack varies by product.

The team has nine members, including four mid-career hires, and provides OJT and product-development training. Udemy and GLOBIS are available for self-study.

This is a regular full-time position in Shibuya, Tokyo. Annual salary is JPY 7–12 million. One fourteenth of the annual salary is paid monthly, with additional one-fourteenth payments in June and December; the annual salary is revised once each November. Monthly pay includes deemed compensation for 25 hours, except for management hires. Coreless flextime uses 7.5 working hours per day and a 60-minute break, with 9:30–18:00 as a common schedule. OJT is office-based; after acclimation, hybrid office and remote work is available, although attendance may be needed for customer or team coordination and the supervisor decides according to ability. Annual holidays total at least 125 days, with weekends and public holidays off.
