The engineer contributes to stable operation for game titles in Japan and overseas by monitoring services, maintaining SLOs, and responding to incidents while meeting varied business requirements. Required experience includes server-side development, API design and implementation, relational database design and performance tuning, backend development with a statically typed language, team development using Git, development processes involving code review, and implementation of unit tests to assure quality.
Preferred experience includes backend development with Java, C, or Python; Ruby on Rails development; frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js; creating design documentation and sharing specifications using UML; basic knowledge of network protocols such as HTTP; development and operation of large-scale, high-traffic web services; and development using GCP.
