About this role

This role is part of Algomatic’s Business Transformation Division, which handles the business domain of an enterprise OS. The team applies AI agents to everyday work in areas such as human resources, sales, and operations, redesigning business processes from requirements definition through implementation and adoption. The division also uses AI throughout its own development process, including idea exploration, requirements definition, and implementation.

The role builds client projects and improves business operations. Responsibilities include project management covering schedule and progress control, quality management, and coordination with related parties; promoting implementation at client sites; designing operations; running PDCA cycles based on quantitative data; and delivering projects in cooperation with directors. The work includes interviewing clients to organize business and frontline issues, visualizing workflows, identifying areas that can be replaced or improved with AI, and reaching agreement among frontline staff, managers, executives, and other stakeholders.

The position also involves building AI agents and business-support tools with Copilot Studio, Google Workspace Studio, and Claude. The person in this role creates and improves prototypes intended for use at client sites, incorporates client feedback, and designs how the tools will be operated. Additional work includes preparing project, proposal, and report materials, managing project progress with PMs and consultants, identifying obstacles to adoption, and proposing improvements.

The posting welcomes applicants with backgrounds in project management or consulting. The listed work location is in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

One example project is the launch of an AI-native new business with a major human-resources company. AI agents were used for labor-intensive work such as career-advisor interviews and matching, with the project aiming to improve job-seeker experience and labor productivity while developing a next-generation business model as a focus of the client’s medium-term management plan.

Another example is the AI transformation of store back-office operations for a major retail company. The system uses AI agents for work performed by staff across approximately 1,500 stores in Japan and overseas, including inventory adjustments, sales reports, delivery management, and allocation. The project reduced inventory-adjustment work by 75 percent and standardized reporting quality, helping store staff focus on customer service.
