Reporting to the EAF Japan Head, this transactor leads origination and execution, with particular focus on Japanese agencies including JBIC, NEXI and JICA. The role develops opportunities with global EAF Sales and client coverage teams, advancing deals from mandate and structuring through approval, negotiation and execution. It coordinates Risk, Banking and teams across Trade, Markets, Loans and DCM; leads pricing and return decisions; advises clients on agency due diligence; and oversees documentation, closing, booking, revenue mapping and later amendments. It also contributes to EAF strategy and ESG and social-finance solutions. Applicants need relevant EAF experience (3 to 10+ years depending on position), knowledge of export credit, development finance and/or multilateral agencies, and debt structuring, arranging and syndication experience.
