Experience in workforce planning, organization design, and talent-strategy planning and execution is required, as is experience leading people or projects as a manager or equivalent, including goal setting, delivery, and member development. Candidates should also understand Japanese labor regulations, HR systems, labor management, and job-based HR, and be able to analyze issues, propose solutions, involve stakeholders, and act in uncertain and rapidly changing environments.

Native-level Japanese and business-level or higher English are required for management and global coordination. IT experience with Slack or Teams, Microsoft Office or Google applications, and hosting online meetings through Teams or Zoom is required. Work-related AI use beyond simple tasks such as translation is preferred. Preferred experience includes scaling an organization from a venture to a large company, IPO preparation, recruiting or labor management for technical roles such as engineering, manufacturing, or R&D, and working with overseas offices or multinational members.

The position is based at the Tokyo headquarters in Ota-ku, Tokyo. Work at a Tokyo satellite office in Marunouchi may also be possible from June 2026. Remote work is negotiable for people living within commuting distance, and domestic or international transfers may be possible. Working hours are 9:00 to 18:00 with a one-hour break, with a flextime system where applicable. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are off, with at least 120 annual holidays.
