Corporate Planning

The Corporate Planning department develops strategies and plans for digital assets, including security tokens and crypto assets. The role involves coordinating with companies and departments across the Daiwa Securities Group to establish structures for business development.

Responsibilities also include discussions and negotiations with peer companies, industry organizations, and regulatory authorities to help develop the broader industry environment. The department conducts advanced pilot projects related to digital assets and makes investments in, and forms partnerships with, digital-asset companies, including startups.

歓迎 experience includes work in an underwriting, markets, systems, or operations department at a securities company. Knowledge of blockchain-related technologies is welcomed, as are skills in business-model and financial analysis. Experience investing in startups or overseas companies is also welcomed.

The required language levels are native Japanese and business-level English. The employment type is permanent full-time. The listed work location is the Grant Tokyo North Tower in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The working hours are 8:40 to 17:10 with a one-hour break. The holidays include a five-day workweek schedule with Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and the year-end and New Year holidays off. Annual paid leave is 17 to 23 days, prorated for employees joining during the year; hourly annual leave, nursing leave, and maternity and childcare leave systems are also available.

Smoking is prohibited during working hours. Duties may change to duties designated by the company, and the work location may change to a company-designated location, including a telework location.
