This dedicated business development role supports TRILL and Kurashiru. TRILL is a lifestyle media service, while Kurashiru is a recipe video service that is expanding its value beyond recipes to address food-related needs. The role is responsible for creating new business pillars on top of the existing services and moving initiatives such as new revenue models, new recipe-related experiences, and manga-user growth into execution.

Daily work includes measuring and breaking down the revenue structure of the assigned business area, designing its P&L, and developing business hypotheses that can be tested quickly with a minimal setup. The role also involves development partnerships with external partners, preparing investment proposals, setting criteria for withdrawing from initiatives, and making proposals to management meetings. The person will form and manage a small team and define requirements for business and data foundations designed around AI-enabled operations.

Potential assignments include business development for TRILL’s manga area, including growth initiatives, alliances with publishers and other partners, and planning original works. Another possible area is new business development for Kurashiru, including partnerships with retailers and food manufacturers and commercialization of AI-based experiences beyond the existing recipe experience. A further area is TRILL content strategy and new revenue development, including significant traffic growth and the launch of new revenue foundations.

The position is newly established as a dedicated function that had previously been handled alongside other responsibilities by managers.
