Technical Architect - Tableau

This senior Technical Architect role sits within Salesforce’s Professional Services organization and focuses on Tableau-centered data analytics solutions for enterprise customers. The position supports the design of data platforms and helps organizations establish data-driven practices through Tableau expertise, architecture guidance, and customer-facing consulting.

The work includes building and migrating analytics environments, including on-premises-to-cloud transitions, and designing user security and data governance. The architect supports dashboard design, performance tuning, data preparation, system integration, and Tableau Blueprint workshops. Technologies and environments named in the posting include AWS, Azure, GCP, Windows, Linux, VMware, proxy and load-balancer configurations, SSO, SSL certificates, R, Python, SQL, and custom scripting. The role also contributes to delivery documentation and technical presales guidance.

Required qualifications include experience delivering enterprise software deployments, installing and validating server software, estimating server capacity, managing a PaaS environment on AWS, Azure, or GCP, and working with networking, authentication, security, and system architecture. Candidates must have led architecture design, be able to perform hands-on technical work, and demonstrate consulting, customer communication, facilitation, and complex-project leadership skills.
