This role is responsible for a broad range of domestic real estate investment management activities within the asset management division. Responsibilities include sourcing and conducting due diligence on real estate asset management companies, investment properties, and real estate investment products and funds.
The role monitors existing products, including J-REITs, private REITs, and private funds. It also supports planning and proposals for real estate investment products for institutional investors and pension funds, prepares reporting materials for these clients, provides sales support, and distributes relevant information.
The position is assigned to the Investment Solutions Department of Mizuho Trust & Banking. The department analyzes listed REITs, private REITs, and other private funds, makes investment judgments, and performs monitoring and other gatekeeper functions for domestic real estate fund investments by pension funds and large institutional investors.
Required experience includes practical work in real estate investment or real estate securitization, such as real estate asset management, real estate securitization arrangement, real estate investment and lending, or corporate real estate brokerage. PC skills required include Excel aggregation using formulas and chart creation, as well as Word and PowerPoint for preparing client proposal materials.
Experience researching, analyzing, and monitoring real estate asset management companies and real estate investment products is preferred. Preferred qualifications include Real Estate Transaction Specialist, Real Estate Securitization Association Certified Master, or Real Estate Appraiser.
This is a full-time permanent employee position in Tokyo. The contract has no fixed term, with individual treatment potentially offered depending on experience. The probationary period is six months with the same salary. Standard working hours are 8:40 to 17:10, including 7 hours and 30 minutes of scheduled work and a 60-minute break; flextime may apply depending on the department.
