Entrepreneurship Program — 2027 New Graduate

This full-time new graduate role is for candidates with entrepreneurship experience, regardless of whether the venture was incorporated, its scale, or its outcome. The successful candidate will join TBM, a Japan-based deep-tech startup working on materials and resource-circulation businesses addressing climate change and resource depletion.

The role is designed to support an entrepreneurial career from the first year. Depending on the candidate’s interests and discussions during interviews, placement may be in the President’s Office, a new-business department, or another area related to the new business or work the candidate wants to pursue. Responsibilities may include planning and promoting new businesses and carrying out other activities needed to advance the business. The candidate may also rotate between departments every half year to develop capabilities for new-business planning, promotion, and broader business development.

TBM develops and manufactures environmentally conscious materials and products and promotes resource circulation. Its businesses include LIMEX materials and products, carbon recycling, and high-performance recycled materials. The company states that it is in a second founding phase, developing carbon recycling and recycled materials as new business pillars and building its next business portfolio toward an IPO. The company has approximately 261 employees.

The selection process is expected to take approximately one to one and a half months. The process consists of document screening, including a résumé and new-business planning materials, followed by an interview with a senior executive that includes a presentation. An aptitude test may also be required. Applicants must submit a résumé, materials showing their entrepreneurship experience, and a new-business proposal; up to two related documents may be submitted optionally.

The workplace is in Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Working hours are 9:00 to 18:00, with eight working hours and a 60-minute break. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and December 30 through January 3, with 120 annual holidays; Saturday work may occur approximately once or twice per year. Salary is determined according to the company’s grade-based range, considering experience and ability, and is subject to review twice yearly.
