Responsibilities include building and operating a comprehensive IT performance management framework with IT leadership and regional or functional stakeholders. The role aligns IT value propositions, designs KPIs and KPI metrics, coordinates with stakeholders, monitors performance, conducts analysis, and supports improvement initiatives and automation tools. It also prepares and runs regular meetings within IT governance and provides insights and analyses to IT leadership teams and business executives.

The position collaborates with the CIO office and IT leadership teams to formulate global IT strategies and roadmaps. It shapes and coordinates the scope of transformation projects, identifies transformation opportunities with internal and external stakeholders, and reflects those opportunities in IT strategies, goals and performance measures. The role also supports governance, compliance framework development, budget and cost management, workforce planning, strategic vendor management, and global change management and communication.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and at least five years of experience in an IT department with 100 or more members, or in an IT consulting firm handling IT organizations of a similar scale. Experience managing target setting and IT functional performance is required. Candidates must have experience designing and implementing balanced scorecards, CIO dashboards, and comprehensive performance management metrics or KPIs for IT organizations or business units, rather than individual staff. A track record in IT transformation is required. Japanese proficiency at N1 level or equivalent is required, and English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 800 or higher is recommended.

Preferred qualifications include experience in a consulting firm or the life sciences or healthcare industry, and experience managing teams and executive stakeholders across multiple regions.
