Finance & Corporate Planning

Newmo is hiring a finance and corporate planning professional to work directly under the CFO. The role spans financing, FP&A, investor relations, management planning, M&A-related execution, cross-company projects, and preparation for a future IPO.

Debt-financing responsibilities include building relationships with financial institutions, preparing materials for lenders, negotiating agreements, and managing covenants. Equity-financing work includes developing relationships with new investors, building the equity story, preparing pitch materials, negotiating agreements, and handling documentation. Investor-relations duties include reporting to existing shareholders, operating monthly reporting meetings, and responding to fund audits.

For FP&A and corporate planning, the position manages budgets and actual performance, conducts management analysis, and prepares business-plan materials. It also prepares and coordinates materials for management meetings and board meetings.

M&A and company-wide responsibilities include executing work related to financing for M&A, supporting valuations, and assisting with closing and post-merger integration. The role manages practical projects such as subsidy applications, subsidiary reorganizations, and registration-related work. It also handles work across locations, including travel to the Tokyo headquarters, Osaka, Kanagawa, and other sites.

IPO preparation is expected to become a future mission. The posting states that preparation is planned to begin in one to two years, with a target IPO in three to five years. The position will participate in the listing-preparation process, including internal structure development and disclosure-material work.
