Account Executive (Manager / Head)

This role leads enterprise sales and product-improvement work for Kurashiru AI OS, an AI agent for manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers. The service targets inefficient workflows in food distribution, where fax and paper exchanges remain common. It uses AI-OCR and large language models to structure unstructured data and automate business processes.

Responsibilities include interviewing executives, business-unit leaders and AI/DX strategy teams at enterprise clients to identify issues, planning solutions, and proposing ways to address management and operational problems with Kurashiru AI OS. The role covers new customer development, relationship building with existing customers, and upsell and cross-sell proposals. It also works with the business owner and product-development members to turn customer needs into product improvements.

The service is currently focused on food and beverage manufacturers. Planned expansion includes consumer-goods manufacturers in areas such as daily necessities and cosmetics, followed by wholesalers and retailers. The supported tasks of the AI agent are also intended to expand. The position combines deep, customer-facing investigation of client challenges with efforts to improve service quality through engineering.

The product addresses operational areas outside core systems that have traditionally depended on human judgment and coordination. Its scope includes automating and redesigning non-structured work, as well as reconsidering business processes, trading practices and information flows between industries. The Kurashiru business provides existing relationships and a sales pipeline with food and beverage manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers.

The position works close to a small core team of fewer than ten people and involves daily discussion with the CEO and CTO on business and organizational decisions. BizDev and engineering members discuss issues as equals: customer-facing information can influence product specifications, while technical constraints can influence business decisions. The company is also redesigning its internal management operations around AI and using its own business internally.
