AI-Enabled DX Planning

This role plans and promotes initiatives to improve development productivity and transform business and operational processes across the entire IT and Systems Group. The scope covers development, maintenance, operations, and non-development IT work. The role also plans and advances platforms and rules for the use of AI, with a focus on generative AI and AI-driven development.

Required experience includes planning or promoting initiatives involving generative AI, AI utilization, business automation, development process improvement, or IT business reform. Candidates must be able to use AI tools, development-support tools, low-code tools, and project management tools to promote improvements in business operations and productivity while involving relevant departments. The role requires the ability to organize and clearly explain issues, initiatives, and results to executives, department heads, and operational staff, as well as communication, document preparation, and presentation skills.

Preferred experience includes proof-of-concept work, implementation, business application, and effectiveness evaluation using generative AI, AI agents, AI-driven development tools, or code-generation tools. Knowledge of policies for preparing development and operational data needed for AI use, or of building related environments, is also preferred. Examples of this data include repositories, documents, CI/CD, automated testing, telemetry, incidents, and project data. Experience planning or introducing AI-use rules, data governance, security, risk management, and usage controls in large organizations is preferred, as is knowledge of development and operation of mission-critical systems at financial institutions or similar organizations.

Examples of relevant qualifications include Information Technology Engineer examinations such as IT Strategist, Project Manager, Systems Architect, and Database Specialist. Qualifications related to generative AI, data science, or AI are additionally welcomed.

The position is a permanent employee role based in Tokyo. The contract has no fixed term, and the probationary period is six months with the same salary. Standard working hours are 8:40 to 17:10, including 7.5 working hours and a 60-minute break; flextime may apply depending on the department. Overtime and holiday work may be required. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays. Annual paid leave is 21 days, with first-year allocation depending on the hiring month. Salary is determined according to company regulations, and commuting expense reimbursement, lunch subsidies, social insurance, a stock ownership plan, childcare support, housing-related programs, asset-building support, and leisure support are provided under applicable rules. The stated workplace-change scope includes locations designated by the company, including telework locations.
