AI Solutions Consultant (Associate)

The AI Solutions Consultant supports client companies from identifying business issues through implementation of data-driven AI solutions. Day-to-day work includes interviewing clients about their business challenges, designing approaches using AI, machine learning, and data analysis, and handling solution planning, proposals, promotion, and delivery.

Responsibilities include sales activities from initial discussions to solution proposals in AI and data analysis, webinars and content creation to expand inbound leads and support marketing and branding, and initiatives to obtain new outbound leads. The consultant also communicates with customers on delivery projects, supports project managers, conducts delivery work involving issue definition, consulting and requirements definition, and proposes continued project engagement.

Required qualifications include experience in customer discussions and proposals in the IT industry, experience performing data analysis using tools such as Python, and technical knowledge of data analysis, machine learning, statistical modeling, or data mining. Communication ability, teamwork, and integrity are also listed as requirements. Preferred qualifications include practical experience in AI development or data analysis, advanced knowledge of computer science, computer vision, or data science, extensive client negotiation experience, experience proposing AI or data-science services, relevant certifications such as G検定 or E資格, understanding of current computer-science papers and technologies, experience introducing AutoML or business-intelligence tools, and experience designing or developing data models.

The role works with AI consultants and data scientists to support the growth of major-company clients. Projects may cover different fields because the data and tasks vary according to each client’s needs. The position is part of a team-based consulting and delivery environment covering AI software, DX and AI organization development, and AI strategy support.

This is a full-time position in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Employment includes a six-month probationary period with no change to salary or benefits. Annual compensation is determined based on experience, ability, and previous compensation and includes an assumed 30 hours of monthly overtime pay. The company uses a super-flextime system from 5:00 to 22:00 with no core hours, with eight scheduled working hours per day. Remote work is available.
