This position is an AI and systems consultant role in the AI platform business of ExaWizards, working on projects with large enterprise customers. The work covers planning, designing, driving and executing AI solution projects, in two kinds of project: custom solutions built from scratch, and semi-custom solutions built on the company's AI development platform exaBase Studio. Depending on aptitude and interests, a consultant may take on both.
Day-to-day work includes proposing AI-centered solutions with demos and proof-of-concept mock-ups, working with consultants and engineers to carry projects from PoC design through production and adoption, and project management from requirements definition to development and maintenance. Depending on experience, the role also includes hands-on work such as prompt engineering, LLM API integration and building pipelines for unstructured text and image data, and turning repeatable patterns into reusable assets for the platform.
Applicants need at least two years of system development or IT consulting experience, personal or work experience using generative AI or AI agents, experience negotiating with clients or leading cross-department projects, and native-level Japanese. Project management experience, web application development, AI or data projects and infrastructure design are a plus.
