Corporate Strategy Manager

This role sits in AIRoA’s Corporate Strategy Division and develops plans to bring its robot foundation models and other R&D outputs into practical use. It links R&D teams with AI companies, research institutions and other partners, coordinating work across functions. Work includes adoption strategy, use-case development, proof-of-concept (PoC) projects and business partnerships, as well as oversight of cross-functional projects. The manager coordinates stakeholders and executive briefings, and manages budgets, progress, risks and teams. The role calls for data and AI knowledge and a basic understanding of robot learning or multimodal AI to discuss technical matters with R&D. Applicants need experience planning and driving projects in at least one of three areas: AI-training-data quality or management; development or provision of LLMs, AI foundation models or training datasets; or AI-system/service development with overseas companies, research institutions or other partners. The experience guideline is three or more years. Applicants also need basic technical understanding of robot learning, multimodal AI or related fields. They must have AI/robotics professional experience or strong interest in its societal impact, and share the value of advancing this work in Japan.
