Required candidates must have industry knowledge of power businesses such as solar power, offshore wind, and gas-fired power generation; energy businesses such as oil, gas, and mineral resources; or infrastructure businesses such as roads, airports, and railways. Alternatively, candidates may have experience at a financial institution or similar organization in corporate finance, project finance, ECA finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, securitization, or other structured finance work.
Experience in finance-related work at a financial institution or similar organization is preferred. Experience arranging or advising on project finance in the power, resources and energy, or infrastructure sectors, or experience arranging ECA finance, is an advantage.
The position is in the Project Finance Sales Department, which handles domestic and international project finance and ECA finance transactions. The work location is Tokyo, and the company may change the work location to a location designated by the company, including a telework location.
This is a permanent full-time employee position with no fixed contract period. A six-month probationary period applies, with the same salary during probation. Standard working hours are 8:40 to 17:10, including 7.5 scheduled working hours and a 60-minute break. Flextime may apply depending on the department. Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and specified year-end and New Year holidays are days off. Annual paid leave is 21 days, subject to a reduced amount in the first year depending on the hiring month. Overtime and holiday work may be required.
