Finance & Corporate Planning

The position works directly under the CFO as the company expands its finance function after raising approximately ¥19.9 billion cumulatively through Series A. The posting welcomes candidates with finance expertise and practical execution accuracy developed at a financial institution or venture capital firm.

Responsibilities include building relationships with financial institutions, preparing lender materials, negotiating contracts, and managing covenants for debt financing. For equity financing, the role identifies new investors, develops the equity story, prepares pitch materials, handles contract negotiations, and manages documentation. Investor relations duties include reporting to existing shareholders, operating monthly reporting meetings, and responding to fund audits.

The FP&A and corporate planning scope covers budget and actuals management, management analysis, and preparation of business-plan materials. The position also prepares and coordinates materials for management meetings and board meetings.

M&A and cross-company work includes executing tasks related to financing for M&A, supporting valuation work, and assisting with closing and post-merger integration. Additional project-management responsibilities include subsidy applications, subsidiary reorganization, and registration procedures. The role involves business travel across locations including the Tokyo headquarters, Osaka, and Kanagawa.

IPO preparation is planned as a future responsibility. Preparation is expected to begin in one to two years, with a listing target of three to five years. The position will participate in preparation processes such as developing internal systems and handling disclosure materials.

The stated work location is the Tokyo office in Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Work in Osaka can be arranged according to preference.
