Financial and Payments Business Development

This full-time business development role focuses on finance and payments for small businesses. The position leads the growth of factoring services and the creation of new financial services, including services for freelancers. It uses accounting and other business data within freee’s integrated cloud platform to address cash-flow and management decision-making needs.

The main mission is to create business impact by expanding the factoring business and entering new areas. Responsibilities include acquiring new alliance partners for a three-party factoring business and strengthening relationships with existing partners. The role also covers creating schemes outside conventional factoring, such as future receivables factoring; planning new features and value-focused services based on user needs; and carrying out service launches and growth initiatives, including factoring PLG and related planning.

For the freelancer-support area, the person will plan new business and build mechanisms that improve cash-flow efficiency and help users make decisions about their business activities. The role will also use the foundation of freee’s individual-oriented services to create additional value, add freelancer services, and update existing services.

Additional responsibilities include market analysis, strategy development, revenue and expenditure planning, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role is intended for someone who can apply experience in the finance and payments field, together with knowledge of alliance building and scheme creation.
