HR Area Consultant

The consultant leads end-to-end consulting projects focused on introducing cloud SaaS for HR functions such as attendance management, labor administration, and payroll. Responsibilities include hearing and analyzing clients’ current operations, proposing ideal workflows, designing redesigned business processes, configuring system environments, supporting data conversion and import from existing systems, facilitating client meetings, and preparing reports on project progress and results.

The role manages projects from workflow proposal through system configuration and data migration, working toward operational adoption and improvement of clients’ back-office functions. The consultant typically handles approximately five to ten clients in parallel and conducts one to two customer web meetings per day.

Required experience includes approximately five or more years in business consulting, IT consulting, the SIer or IT solutions industry, or experience in AX strategy, DX promotion, business development, or product planning with project management experience in an operating company. Candidates must have a record of structurally identifying client business issues and leading business-process renewal or system implementation, or equivalent project management experience. Deep understanding of HR operations is required, including complex workflows for attendance, labor administration, and payroll. Three or more years of member-management experience is also required.

Preferred experience includes consulting for implementation of HR SaaS products, manager-level or higher experience at a consulting firm, translating systems into practical operations based on strong process knowledge, solution proposals, requirements definition, business-flow design and BPR, and leading overall designs for difficult DX concepts or IT strategies such as renewal of complex systems or IT integration accompanying an M&A.

The work combines SaaS products and AX consulting to support corporate management. Named products and services include Manageboard, Money Forward Cloud Consolidated Accounting, Sactona, AI-assisted business assessment and fit-and-gap analysis, system implementation support, and digital automation using AI and data integration. The role uses advanced cloud tools related to back-office operations and serves companies ranging from small businesses to listed companies.

This is a full-time position based in Tokyo or Osaka. The employment uses a flextime system with eight standard working hours, a 60-minute break, flexible hours from 7:00 to 22:00, and core-time options of 10:00 to 15:00 or 9:30 to 14:30. It follows a hybrid work style with two office days per week generally required and three or more recommended. Annual compensation is JPY 8.5 million to JPY 12 million. The position includes a three-month probationary period, social insurance, housing-related allowances, defined-contribution pension, employee stock ownership, paid leave, seasonal holidays, and performance-based bonuses.
