IR Specialist / Fundraising and M&A Assistant

This role leads the planning and execution of investor relations activities. Responsibilities include developing equity stories with management, conducting research and analysis, preparing and arranging materials for shareholder meetings and investor briefings, and arranging individual meetings with institutional investors and securities analysts. The role serves as a bridge between the company and the market, using investor feedback to inform management strategy, and supports IR activities for TBM’s business partners and investee companies.

The position requires at least three years of practical experience in IR or corporate planning at an unlisted or listed company, or experience in investment banking or corporate communications at a securities company, or in an administrative function at a global company. It also requires at least three years of experience preparing presentation materials or reports, plus experience in financial analysis or data analysis.

Preferred qualifications include native-level Japanese and business-level English, and experience participating in fundraising using capital markets. Balancing speed and governance when progressing work is a preferred characteristic.

The role is part of the Corporate Finance Department, which oversees finance, accounting, and capital strategy. The department handles capital policy, equity and debt financing, budgeting and monitoring, financial due diligence for investments and M&A, IPO preparation, and IR and disclosure strategy. The business context includes LIMEX, carbon recycling, and recycled-materials operations, with a focus on sustainability and resource circulation.

The position is full-time and based in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The employment contract includes a six-month probationary period. Stock options are planned.
