Takeover defense work includes vulnerability analysis, takeover defense measures, contingency plans, hostile tender offers, and shareholder proposals.
Required experience may include advisory work in these areas at a financial institution or consulting company; execution or promotion of these activities in the corporate planning or IR-related department of a listed company; or experience as a sell-side or buy-side analyst. Candidates should have expertise in corporate governance, corporate value enhancement measures, and IR/SR.
The position also requires the ability to actively learn about the relevant business areas and to produce clear materials and presentations. English ability is acceptable as a preferred qualification.
