About this role
EventHub is hiring a full-time Marketing Operations Specialist for its marketing team in Minato, Tokyo. The company provides an event marketing platform used for webinars, conferences, exhibitions, academic meetings and business meetings, with functions for event management, data analysis and communication that support lead generation and sales activity.
The role plans and executes marketing strategies that contribute directly to business growth. Its focus extends beyond lead generation to creating opportunities that lead to sales meetings and orders. Day-to-day work includes operating listing, display and social media advertising; submitting ads; managing bids and budgets; tracking conversions; and analyzing performance. The specialist also creates and distributes newsletters and email advertisements, including copy, audience segmentation, score-based coordination and KPI improvement.
Other responsibilities include producing white papers and case studies, improving landing pages and conducting A/B tests, and measuring and improving initiatives through CVR, CPA, MQL, SQL and meeting-conversion rates. Marketing Operations work covers newsletter distribution and scoring in Marketo, CRM maintenance, and operational design for Marketo and Salesforce. The role also designs and builds event operations using Marketo, Salesforce and EventHub, and coordinates with exhibitions, conferences and webinars to maximize leads through pre- and post-event nurturing. Collaboration with inside sales and field sales is required to increase meetings.
The posting requests experience operating listing or display advertising from submission through bidding, budget management, measurement and optimization; creating and distributing newsletters or email advertisements; designing Marketo programs, distributing emails and using scoring; operating Salesforce in B2B marketing; and using GA4 to analyze results, implement improvements and connect them to meetings. Additional useful experience includes creating and editing case-study or SEO content, coordinating with inside sales, field sales, customer success and product teams while driving shared KPIs, planning events and designing event operations, and understanding iPaaS or automation tools such as Workato and Zapier, APIs and workflow recipes. Experience operating a data-visualization pipeline with GA4, Looker Studio and BigQuery is also welcomed.
The team values a short cycle of hypothesis, execution, verification and standardization, revenue-oriented opportunity creation, and flat discussion across internal functions. The company is described as a startup of approximately 40 people; company information lists 45 employees. Product development releases are made weekly, and the role may contribute improvements beyond the marketing team to the overall service.
The work location is 1-1-1 Nishishinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The company requires one office attendance day per month, while the team generally attends the office once or twice per week. The position is full-time. Conditions include a two-day weekly holiday system, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, summer leave, and a three-month probationary period. Benefits include social insurance, transportation allowance, flextime with core hours from 12:00 to 16:00, free dress, and a company-provided Mac with a Japanese JIS keyboard. Compensation is determined according to company rules based on experience, ability and skills; no numeric salary range is stated.
