Candidates must have one of the following backgrounds: origination or execution experience in real estate finance, mainly non-recourse loans, at a bank, trust bank, securities company, insurance company, leasing company, or non-bank; experience in structured finance at one of those types of institutions; real estate development or acquisition experience at a real estate developer, real estate fund, trading company, general contractor, railway company, or insurance company; or corporate sales experience at a major financial institution. Real estate finance experience is not required for the last category.
The transactions cover varied assets, including residences, offices, and data centers, and may involve major developers and domestic or international funds. The role may also involve coordinated transactions with banking, trust banking, and securities group companies, extending beyond debt finance.
This is a permanent position with no fixed contract term. A six-month probationary period applies, with the same salary during probation. The standard working hours are 8:40 to 17:10, including 7.5 working hours and a 60-minute break. Flextime may apply depending on the department. Overtime and holiday work may be required. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays. Annual paid leave is 21 days, subject to a first-year adjustment based on the hiring month. The work location is Tokyo, with possible changes to locations designated by the company, including places where telework is performed.
