Senior Engagement Manager

AWS Professional Services is hiring a Senior Engagement Manager to lead delivery for large-scale migration and modernization of business-critical systems. The role coordinates AWS consultants, partners, customer project teams, and internal Professional Services groups, turning business goals into an engagement plan.

Responsibilities cover scope, schedules, delivery structures, risks, workload assessment, environment planning, migration execution, and reporting to customer executives. The work uses AWS managed services, AWS AI technologies, scalable modernization approaches, and automation tools to move on-premises workloads to cloud environments and modernize applications.

Applicants need hands-on experience defining, designing, building, and implementing IT platforms, project leadership, and assessment, planning, and execution of on-premises-to-cloud migrations. They also need customer and cross-team communication skills, business-level Japanese reading, documentation, and conversation skills, plus experience in high-availability design, continuous-integration platforms, or cloud implementation involving network, compute, storage, and containers.
