Syndicated Loan Agent Operations

This role manages agency operations for syndicated loans. Working as a middle-office function with front-office departments, the position supports smooth transaction formation and serves as a contact point for various matters during the life of each transaction.

Responsibilities include checking documentation when new transactions are formed, managing covenants during the transaction period, and handling various processes for gathering and coordinating lender decisions.

The team handles agency operations for syndicated loans arranged by Mizuho Bank. People with practical experience in credit management, collateral handling, or documentation, including English-language contracts, can use that expertise in the role.

Required qualifications are knowledge of and experience in credit-related work at a financial institution or bank, such as corporate sales or credit examination. Basic PC skills equivalent to Word and Excel are required. English is preferred. One team performs work using English, including checking English contracts and corresponding by email, mainly in reading and writing.

The position is full-time and permanent, with no fixed contract period. The work location is Tokyo, with possible changes to locations designated by the company, including telework locations. Remote work approximately once or twice a week is an available working arrangement.
