Lead the B2B GO BUSINESS unit by designing and executing sales strategy, managing and developing the sales organization, and coordinating with planning, marketing, and product teams to grow the corporate mobility business.
About this role
This role plans, improves, and promotes the deployment of in-vehicle products used in taxis. Products include driver-facing tablets with dispatch, navigation, and payment functions; rear-seat tablets with advertising and payment functions; and new in-vehicle solutions such as software meters. The scope includes not only hardware, but also embedded software, UI/UX, and operational design.
Responsibilities include defining product specifications, preparing deployment plans, promoting implementation, building internal workflows for payments, billing, materials delivery, shipping, and contract management, and conducting regulatory, market, customer, and competitor research. Depending on aptitude and preferences, the role may later include alliances and business planning, including KPI design.
The initial assignment involves existing in-vehicle products and projects. Example work includes promoting the transition to new terminals and applications, using feedback from taxi companies and drivers to repeatedly improve the product and its operations during development and rollout. Early duties also include communicating with development and external-relations members, visiting taxi companies for interviews, managing project progress, facilitating meetings, and preparing minutes. Managers and senior colleagues provide support through collaborative work, regular one-on-one meetings, onboarding materials, and practical guidance on project promotion and facilitation.
Required qualifications are at least two years of experience launching a product or service and experience negotiating or coordinating with customers or internal stakeholders. Knowledge or experience with in-vehicle equipment is not required. Preferred experience includes planning B2B IoT businesses, product specification definition, and visiting clients to propose services, improve implementation, or handle problems. Interest in IT, automobiles, and manufacturing, or basic domain knowledge in these areas, is also welcomed.
The position works across the mobility and transportation DX domain and collaborates with development, sales, and other departments. Over time, the successful candidate may plan and launch new in-vehicle products and services and could progress toward leading requirements design, deployment, and stable operations as a service manager, or pursue business planning, alliances, project management, or people management.
The position is full-time and based in Minato, Tokyo. The company uses a super-flex-time system with no core hours. Annual compensation is JPY 5.5 million to JPY 8 million, including a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month, except where the employee is hired as a manager or supervisor. Salary is revised twice yearly, and a performance-linked lump-sum payment is provided once yearly. Benefits include social insurance, transportation expenses up to JPY 50,000 per month, a monthly allowance of JPY 10,000, childcare allowances, paid leave, holidays, and other company programs.
