The position is based at the Tokyo office in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Remote work is available, with an expected office attendance of about once a week by consultation; some duties require coming to the office. Work outside the Tokyo area and fully remote arrangements may also be discussed individually. Working hours are 8:30–17:15, including a 45-minute break, with flextime scheduling available. Overtime work may occur. The position is full-time and permanent, with a six-month probationary period under unchanged conditions.

The annual holiday total is 125 days, with Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays off, plus paid leave and other stated leave programs.
