This student internship is with ABEMA’s AI Product team, which works on improving workflows from filming and editing through delivery of video to viewers. The intern will use actual program video and audio data to investigate machine-learning and AI approaches, from proof of concept through feedback and proposals to production teams.

The work combines video, audio, and transcription text to find target scenes in large volumes of footage, including scenes defined by people, actions, locations, dialogue, emotions, or the atmosphere of a situation. The intern may help design approaches using existing video-understanding models and foundation models. The specific theme will be discussed according to the intern’s interests, skills, and the progress of the investigation, and duties may change depending on the validation status.
Applicants must be studying at a university or graduate school in statistics, machine learning, information engineering, mathematics and information science, or a related field, or have equivalent knowledge acquired independently.
