Accountant

This accounting role supports the back-office organization as Mico expands its SaaS business. The position covers daily and monthly accounting processing, invoice issuance, accounts receivable and payable management, fixed-asset management, software management, and preparation of other documents. Responsibilities also include monthly, quarterly, annual, and consolidated closing, including consolidated closing work for two overseas subsidiaries.

The role is expected to contribute beyond recurring accounting tasks. The successful hire will work with existing team members to review current processes, design new workflows and internal rules, and improve operational efficiency using current tools such as generative AI. The position also contributes to systems and processes needed for future listing preparation.

The systems are freee, Salesforce, and Bakuraku. The accounting and finance team has six members, including one manager, within a 13-person corporate headquarters organization.

Mico provides SaaS services for BtoC companies focused on user communication and marketing DX. Its product context includes Mico Engage AI, a communication platform; Mico Voice AI, an AI voice calling service; BizClo, an enterprise solution using LINE; and Micomii, a LINE membership-card service for store operators. The company also describes an AI-focused development organization and a global workforce with overseas offices and members from 20 nationalities.

The work location is discussed based on the candidate’s preference. Depending on the duties, the company uses a flexible combination of remote work and office attendance, with an average office attendance of approximately one to two days per week.
