Business Analyst

This Business Analyst joins the AMZL ACES PMO BI & Analytics team supporting optimization of Japan’s last-mile operations network. The role builds an analytical foundation for operational decisions and turns process data into actionable insights beyond traditional KPIs.

The work includes designing and operating data analysis projects, developing dashboards and reports with BI tools such as QuickSight and Tableau, and applying statistical methods to anomaly detection, trend analysis, and predictive analysis. The analyst also automates analysis with AI/ML tools, monitors data quality, defines requirements with stakeholders, and recommends process improvements. Practical SQL experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and at least three years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data science are required. Candidates must be able to use Python or R for analysis, understand data visualization practices, communicate in Japanese and English, and analyze process challenges in a data-driven manner.
