About this role

This role is responsible for growing a group company that provides staffing and BPO services in the healthcare sector. The position develops projects both within and outside the group, using JMDC’s customer base and data assets.

Responsibilities include identifying work held by JMDC business divisions and designing, proposing, and winning projects for re委託 to a group company. The role also develops new BPO opportunities with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and health-related businesses. Depending on each project, the person determines whether to build a specialized BPO using healthcare professionals or a general-staff BPO.

The position designs and launches delivery operations for won projects. This includes creating work processes, planning staffing, setting prices and costs, and defining KPIs. During the initial operating period, the person is expected to work directly in the field to resolve bottlenecks and ensure that projects both operate effectively and remain profitable.

The role carries responsibility for sales and gross-profit targets, as well as the profitability and portfolio of projects. It also involves planning and implementing productivity improvements through digital and AI applications. In the future, the position is expected to take responsibility for operating the group company’s business.

Required experience includes personally carrying a sales or gross-profit target for a business, site, or department for a cumulative period of at least three years. Experience designing and improving operations and participating directly through their launch is required. The posting also requires experience bringing together parties without direct reporting authority, such as other companies, departments, or group companies, to establish projects or initiatives.

Experience in staffing, BPO, outsourcing, call-center operations, post-M&A integration, subsidiary value improvement, or launching a business from an unstructured environment is welcomed. Practical experience in IT, SaaS, or DX and knowledge of healthcare are also welcomed, although prior healthcare industry experience is not required.

The position is based initially at the Tokyo office. Working hours use a flextime system with core hours from 11:00 to 15:00; standard working time is eight hours per day with a 60-minute break. The employment package includes social insurance, commuting allowance up to 150,000 yen per month, a corporate defined-contribution pension, leave programs, and an employee stock ownership plan.
