It also coordinates consistent messaging with marketing, investor relations, and overseas group companies.

The position includes social listening through monitoring discussions on social media and the web, identifying and analyzing risks at an early stage, and preparing reports. When risks arise, the employee will handle or support crisis communications and damage-control public relations. Additional responsibilities include planning and implementing internal communications and initiatives to promote the company’s purpose and values.

The role also involves considering ways to strengthen direct information delivery through websites and other digital owned media, as well as planning, producing, and operating related content. The primary area of responsibility will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and skills.

Applicants must have at least five years of practical experience handling corporate communications for an operating company. Required capabilities include designing and executing communications strategies based on management strategy and corporate value enhancement, communicating effectively and thinking logically, organizing complex or ambiguous matters, creating appropriate messages for different audiences, working autonomously, identifying issues independently, and taking action based on hypotheses. The posting requires comfort with reading and writing English for business emails and materials; translation tools may be used. Interest in entertainment content and domestic and international industry trends is also required.

Preferred experience includes corporate communications at a listed company or a business-to-consumer company, crisis communications, internal branding or internal communications, launching or operating owned media using web media or social networking services, work using English or business-level English proficiency, mentoring junior members, leadership in driving projects or initiatives, and experience in the entertainment or IT/web industries. Applicants may submit press releases, articles, proposals, or portfolios they have previously produced.
