Additional responsibilities cover planning and directing initiatives to communicate the company’s purpose and values, internal communication programs, and internal branding support for domestic and overseas group companies. The role also plans measures to strengthen communication through websites and other owned media, develops content distribution strategies, and manages content quality.

Applicants must have at least eight years of practical corporate communications experience at an operating company, at least three years of organizational management experience involving staff development, goal setting and evaluation for a team of three or more, and practical crisis communication experience. Strategic communications design, business understanding, communication, logical thinking, problem solving, autonomy and leadership are required. Interest in entertainment content and industry trends in Japan and overseas is also required. Business email and document reading and writing, as well as simple English communication through chat and web meetings, are required; translation tools may be used. Experience in B2C or listed companies, internal branding, internal communications, owned-media or social-media operations, English-language work, business-level English conversation, or the entertainment and IT/Web industries is preferred.

This is a permanent full-time position with no fixed contract term and a six-month probationary period. The work arrangement is flextime with no core hours; the standard daily working time is 7.5 hours excluding breaks. Overtime may occur. The workplace is in Shibuya, Tokyo. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, annual paid leave, and condolence leave.
