CPO Office, PMM, New Business Development & BizOps

This open position supports Hacobu’s logistics platform business by working directly with management and business divisions on strategy, business planning, and new-business creation. The MOVO SaaS series has grown to more than 38,000 cumulative user locations and over 800,000 registered drivers. As logistics becomes a broader social issue because of regulatory changes and the 2024 logistics problem, the company is expanding beyond SaaS into consulting and systems integration to address the connection between commercial flows and logistics.

The CPO Office role acts as the CPO’s strategic partner for the overall SaaS business. Responsibilities include developing and executing business strategy and the mid-term management plan, creating business roadmaps, designing KPIs, managing budgets against results, and rebuilding sales and marketing strategies. The role also serves as a cross-functional coordination hub.

The PMM role leads business strategy and go-to-market strategy in line with management objectives. In addition to KPI design and budget-versus-results management, it evaluates which investments can generate revenue and proposes how people and budgets should be allocated. The position operates close to business leadership.

The BizOps role promotes data-driven management using AI and data. It analyzes data, visualizes KPIs with Tableau, supports decision-making linked to business strategy in collaboration with management meetings and department heads, and redesigns business processes.

The New Business Development role uses the company’s customer and data foundations to lead zero-to-one business creation and strategy design with future profit-and-loss responsibility in view. The work includes market research and analysis, financial and numerical modeling, and roadmap creation, translating highly abstract management issues into concrete business plans.

The specific department and responsibilities will be considered during interviews according to the candidate’s experience and interests. Depending on experience, the person may join as a manager candidate. The work location is the Tokyo headquarters in Minato, Tokyo, or another company-designated location such as the employee’s home.
