Additional responsibilities include forming and operating renewable energy and infrastructure funds, structuring funds, conducting English-language marketing and investor relations for institutional limited partners, and managing overseas assets through monitoring, KPI management and investor reporting.

As department head, the position manages the investment, monitoring and fund functions as a whole, develops departmental strategy, makes investment decisions, manages the team and carries revenue responsibility.

Required experience includes practical due diligence experience in overseas renewable energy and infrastructure investment, including coordination and oversight of technical due diligence; specialized knowledge of project finance; knowledge of the fund business; and experience managing an investment team. English negotiation-level ability is required for contract negotiations with overseas businesses and investors.

Experience forming or executing renewable energy or infrastructure funds or project finance fundraising is welcomed. Related qualifications such as securities analyst, real estate or technical credentials, IT literacy and data-processing skills using Excel or BI tools are also welcomed. Experience building internal consensus and communicating within a large Japanese company is an additional preferred qualification.

The position requires independently advancing cross-border transactions in English, shaping undeveloped areas, building consensus with internal and external stakeholders, and taking responsibility across investment, exit and fund operations. Potential backgrounds include trading companies, renewable energy or infrastructure businesses, renewable energy or infrastructure development divisions of construction companies, renewable energy or infrastructure teams at investment companies or foreign-affiliated private equity funds, and bank project finance divisions.

The scheduled working hours are 8:40 to 17:10 with a one-hour break. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and the year-end and New Year period; annual paid leave is 17 to 23 days, prorated for mid-year hires, with hourly annual leave, nursing leave and maternity and childcare leave systems. The workplace is in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Smoking is prohibited during working hours.
