Design and improve operations for a platform business providing card, credit, and financial operations to partners. Standardize workflows, coordinate stakeholders, and build KPI monitoring.
About this role
This internship supports the Inside Sales team in the credit card business. The role works with corporate customers who have shown interest in the service and covers the customer journey from initial outreach through application, first card payment, and continued use.
Day to day, the intern calls interested companies, asks about their current situation and issues, explains and proposes the service, and provides application guidance. If an initial call does not lead to an application, the intern contacts the company again at an appropriate time. After an application, the intern checks progress and follows up on relevant procedures so the customer can begin using the card smoothly. Follow-up continues after activation to support ongoing use.
The role includes reviewing daily call results and customer usage data, forming hypotheses about how to improve results, and testing changes to work processes. Observations may also lead to proposals for improving the service itself, including suggestions to the product side, such as development and business-planning teams. Timing, messaging, and follow-up frequency can affect outcomes, so the intern examines these factors and the relationship between actions, sales results, and continued customer use.
Additional tasks may be assigned as needed for business growth and according to the stage of the business. Previous internship experience is not required, and the posting welcomes applicants with a proactive willingness to take on the work. The position can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in Japan. Attendance at the Shibuya office is also available if desired.
