PMO Project Manager

This role is the first PMO position for a platform business that launches financial and payment projects jointly with major partner companies. The PMO will coordinate multiple important projects and establish a structured management and quality-control framework as the business expands.

Responsibilities include supporting planning and driving execution on large, complex projects, including hands-on involvement in delivery. The role will centrally manage schedules, issues, and risks, and develop approaches for resolving them systematically. It will also establish cross-project PMO operations and standardize project delivery and quality-management processes.

The PMO will coordinate with major partner companies and other stakeholders, run meetings, support consensus building, and provide executives and business leaders with timely information and materials for decision-making. The position requires an understanding of technical issues related to system and platform development and smooth communication with both development and business teams.

The role will introduce and validate generative AI and other current technologies for PMO work and project operations, with the aim of improving efficiency. Initially, responsibilities also include supporting project-management members with tasks and creating coordination mechanisms across teams. As the organization grows, the position is expected to lead people management, including development and evaluation, as well as team building.

The projects involve the external provision of a corporate-card platform, credit capabilities, and operational expertise to major partners. The role may cover partner negotiations, decision-making support, interpretation of financial regulations, accounting and finance issues, large-scale project management, and operations design across the full process of launching a financial business. The selection process consists of entry, a casual interview, document screening, multiple interviews, and an offer.
