The role leads the global expansion of high-performance recycled materials by establishing overseas commercial flows and supply chains and building the operating foundation for the business.
Responsibilities include developing applications for products using high-performance recycled materials for overseas customers, conducting test-marketing sales for new products, and designing collection, recycling and processing schemes for recycled materials generated overseas. The role also designs commercial structures, including contracts, pricing and supply arrangements, validates business feasibility, and drives improvements toward scaling.
Applicants must have experience launching a new business or service from zero to one at an operating company or consulting firm. The role also requires the ability to interview stakeholders and develop proposals from situations where issues have not yet been organized, as well as business-level English proficiency.
Preferred experience includes knowledge of resins, plastics or other materials; sales experience with resin products in logistics materials or construction materials; experience building and negotiating long-term supply contracts such as offtake agreements, business investments or alliance schemes; and top-level approaches to executives or managers at large and mid-sized companies in Japan or overseas.
The position offers experience in building global supply chains and launching businesses in emerging markets, including global business development and cross-border negotiation skills.
