SNS Platform Planner

This role plans and operates GREE Platform, a game and social networking platform. Responsibilities include developing initiatives to maintain user activity and reactivate dormant users, planning content that creates new revenue, coordinating production, supporting rules and profit-and-loss management, and managing relationships with game developers.

At the beginning, the planner supports the planning of new platform content, coordination with design and development teams, and coordination with other departments. The role also assists with managing and analyzing third-party developers. With experience, the planner is expected to independently manage medium- to large-scale development projects, plan cross-product or individual-game campaigns and initiatives, measure their impact, and propose improvements through a plan-do-check-act cycle. Longer-term responsibilities include identifying business issues, setting strategy, executing related initiatives, managing the team, and overseeing content operations.

Required qualifications are experience operating, analyzing, and improving a game or website; basic knowledge of web development; and at least one of the following: experience planning and operating a product or event as the responsible owner at a social game company; project management or site direction experience at an SIer; or service planning experience as the main person responsible for one service at a web production company, internet media company, or mobile content provider. Experience managing a small team is preferred. An interest in games or related entertainment content is also preferred.

The work involves Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, Confluence, and JIRA. The team uses accumulated long-term operational knowledge and handles a broad range of work with a small number of people. Collaboration, logical thinking, explaining proposals clearly, taking responsibility for work, and accepting others' opinions are emphasized.

This is a full-time, indefinite-term position in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Annual compensation is JPY 5.6 million to JPY 9.0 million under a monthly salary system, including the equivalent of 45 hours of overtime; overtime beyond that amount is paid separately. A bonus is paid twice a year, and transportation expenses are provided up to JPY 50,000 per month. Salary may be reviewed at contract renewal based on experience, performance, ability, and contribution. The probationary period is three months.

Working hours are 9:30 to 18:30, with eight working hours and a 60-minute break. Where discretionary professional or planning work applies, working time is entrusted to the employee based on these hours. The current arrangement combines remote work and office attendance; depending on the department, employees generally work remotely three to four days and attend the office one to two days per week. Office attendance is expected for a certain period after joining to help the employee become familiar with the work and company culture. Benefits include family leave, family work-from-home arrangements, babysitter support, reduced or staggered hours, and drink subsidies. Holidays include two full weekend days off each week, public holidays, paid leave granted after three months, summer leave, year-end and New Year holidays, bereavement leave, and family leave. Health, pension, employment, and workers' accident insurance are provided. Indoor smoking is prohibited, with an outdoor smoking area available.

The selection process generally consists of document screening, approximately two interviews, an aptitude test, and an offer meeting if successful. Interviews are expected to be conducted online, with one opportunity for an in-person meeting.
