Tenant Insurance Agency Sales Manager

This full-time manager role combines assignments in USEN's Insurance Business Promotion Division and USEN Small Amount & Short-Term Insurance's Relationship Development Division. The position supports business expansion in commercial property and tenant insurance for store operators and other business customers.

Day-to-day work includes hearing customer needs, designing insurance plans, preparing quotations, conducting business meetings, negotiating contracts, processing applications, handling changes and accidents, and managing renewals. The role also proposes and develops embedded insurance arrangements that allow customers to join insurance when purchasing products or services. Target customers include major corporations, chain-store businesses, and large facilities such as buildings and factories. The agency handles business insurance and does not handle personal fire insurance, automobile insurance, or life insurance.

The role also strengthens relationships with partners by providing education, training, and meeting support to approximately 1,000 USEN insurance solicitors. It provides education and training to real-estate referral partners who introduce prospective store operators around the time of a tenant lease agreement. These activities support the provision of store-oriented property insurance and related services.

Applicants must have at least three years of sales experience at a non-life insurance company or non-life insurance agency and experience in management work. The position is based in Shibuya, Tokyo. It is a regular employee position with annual compensation of JPY 6,000,000 to 8,000,000. The annual amount is paid in fourteen portions, with additional payments in June and December; the monthly amount includes fixed pay equivalent to 25 hours. Salary is revised once a year. Working hours use a flextime system without core hours, with standard working time of 7.5 hours per day and a 60-minute break. Remote work is available. Annual holidays exceed 125 days, with Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays off.
