Candidates without this experience may instead have relationship-management experience with large or upper-middle-market clients or experience at an overseas location. The role requires a person who can deeply understand market and customer conditions, create competitive added value in transaction banking, and strategically conduct Tier 1 customer sales, initiative planning and product development planning. The candidate must be able to lead cross-border projects involving head-office products and serve as the customer contact. An international perspective and communication skills are desired, and English is required. Experience providing education and personnel development for implementation and customer support, including with overseas teams, is preferred.
The position is based in Tokyo. The work location may be changed to a location designated by the company, including a place where telework is performed. It is a permanent, full-time employee position with a six-month probationary period; salary is unchanged during probation. Standard hours are 8:40 to 17:10, with 7.5 scheduled working hours and a 60-minute break, although flextime may apply depending on the department. Overtime and holiday work may be required. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and year-end and New Year holidays. Annual paid leave is 21 days, subject to adjustment in the first year.
