About this role

This role is a core member of the Web3 business development team. Responsibilities are selected according to the candidate’s experience and strengths across alliances, product management, and system planning.

The role develops new businesses and alliances by proposing Web3 solutions to companies in financial and non-financial industries, negotiating partnerships, and creating use cases. It follows client needs from planning through operation and identifies fundamental customer issues by analyzing needs and market trends.

Working closely with the development team, the role defines requirements for new features, coordinates integration with external systems, improves UI and UX, updates the medium- to long-term product vision, and creates product roadmaps. The initial focus is on NFTs and wallets, with planned expansion into additional Web3 business areas. The broader mission includes applying digital assets to real-world asset acquisition and service use, and creating transparent investment opportunities through the tokenization and liquidity of real-world assets and rights.

Required qualifications include broad knowledge and deep understanding of Web3 areas such as crypto assets, NFTs, blockchain, security tokens, and DeFi, together with related professional experience. Candidates must have practical experience in at least one of the following: B2B solution sales, alliance development, or consulting; product management, project management, or business development in a new-business area; or leading blockchain-based system construction, requirements definition, or core product development.

Experience supporting B2B marketing or SaaS product implementation, commercial blockchain programming or system construction, legal, compliance, or risk management in a new business, financial institution experience, or work at a startup during a growth phase is welcomed.

The team is small and specialized, with members from financial services and other backgrounds including Web3 and systems. The position is full-time and based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Working conditions include a five-day week with Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and year-end holidays off, annual paid leave of 17 to 23 days, hourly paid leave, nursing leave, and childcare leave systems. Salary is determined through consultation.
