About this role

This role plans and develops a corporate employee-education business that began offering its program in March 2026. The service has started gaining adoption across industries including housing, construction, dispensing pharmacies, and manufacturing, but its target customers, value proposition, and service model are still being defined.

The day-to-day work involves creating and testing business hypotheses. This includes identifying the industries, company sizes, and departments most likely to benefit; defining value linked to business outcomes rather than training budgets; differentiating the offering from existing tools; designing pricing, costs, and collection periods; and exploring partner and sales channels. The role also joins business meetings, conducts customer interviews, gathers primary information, and derives insights from customer needs.

The position includes building prototypes with generative AI, either independently or together with engineers, and presenting them to customers to test their reactions. Findings are organized into recommendations for the next decision, including whether to proceed, stop, or change direction. The role provides feedback to product and content teams, participates in development-priority discussions, and explores new services and adjacent areas for business expansion.

Additional responsibilities may include defining the metrics the business should track, operating monthly profit-and-loss actual-versus-budget and KPI monitoring, preparing business plans and P&L plans, proposing investment and organizational plans, and designing and advancing partner and sales-channel strategies. The role may also plan ways to connect assets with other businesses, including cram-school SaaS, atama+塾, and a university admissions-connection program.

The employee-education program addresses training challenges in jobs requiring specialized knowledge or customer-service skills, where onboarding is often centered on on-the-job training. The program uses AI role-play and repeated output-based learning for practical knowledge acquisition so employees can develop practical skills independently. The business also applies learning-design methods developed through the AI teaching material atama+, such as adapting learning sequences to each learner’s understanding and revisiting the causes of difficulties.

The work is based in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.
