M&A Team Intern

An M&A team internship at a mobility startup rebuilding regional transport services around the taxi business, investing in and partnering with taxi companies nationwide to modernize mobility infrastructure. One of the company's growth engines is M&A with taxi companies, where building relationships and creating deals directly drives business expansion speed. The internship helps build the entry to the M&A process, valuing curiosity and persistence over specialized knowledge. Responsibilities include approaching and building relationships with M&A intermediary firms, promoting deal introductions through ongoing communication with intermediary contacts, understanding taxi companies' management challenges and articulating touchpoints and proposals, managing progress and reporting internally, supporting the process from deal formation to agreement alongside employees, collecting and preparing necessary materials, and, based on motivation, engaging in financial work such as reading financial statements. The role offers hands-on experience of roll-up-style startup M&A as a student, with full support from employees. Based in Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Internship (or full-time employee).
